**Effective Date: October 6, 2026**
**Last Updated: October 6, 2026**
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AR Pages.
AR Pages is operated by **Sixty8 Inc.** (“Sixty8,” “AR Pages,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using AR Pages, creating an account, submitting content, or otherwise using services governed by these Terms, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use AR Pages.
---
# 1\. About AR Pages
AR Pages is a platform designed to connect printed and digital materials with augmented-reality (“AR”) experiences and related community, publishing, creation, communication, discovery, and interactive services.
AR Pages may provide or support features such as:
- public AR experiences;
- user accounts;
- user profiles;
- posts and discussions;
- messaging;
- communities or spaces;
- uploaded media;
- AR-enabled content;
- projects;
- organizational content;
- advertising or sponsored experiences;
- business campaigns;
- analytics; and
- educational or institution-authorized experiences.
Some features described in these Terms are planned for future development and may not currently be available.
Nothing in these Terms guarantees that any particular planned feature will be released.
---
# 2\. Who Operates AR Pages
AR Pages is operated by:
**Sixty8 Inc.**
Questions concerning these Terms may be sent to:
**[
[email protected]](mailto:
[email protected])**
---
# 3\. Acceptance of These Terms
You accept these Terms when you:
- create an AR Pages account;
- access a feature that requires acceptance;
- publish or upload content;
- use an AR Pages service governed by these Terms; or
- continue using AR Pages after being presented with these Terms where continued use constitutes valid acceptance under applicable law.
Additional terms may apply to particular products or relationships.
Examples may include:
- school or organization agreements;
- educational terms;
- data-processing terms;
- paid-service agreements;
- advertising agreements;
- campaign agreements; or
- creator or publishing terms.
If additional written terms conflict with these general Terms, the more specific terms will control for the subject addressed by those additional terms.
---
# 4\. Eligibility and Age
## Ordinary accounts
You must be at least **13 years old** to create an ordinary self-service AR Pages account unless AR Pages provides a separate legally compliant child, parent-authorized, or school-authorized account system.
If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has authorized your use of AR Pages where such authorization is required.
AR Pages may impose a higher minimum age for particular features.
## Children under 13
Children under 13 must not create ordinary AR Pages accounts.
This does not mean a child is prohibited from accessing every AR Pages experience.
AR Pages may provide appropriate public, anonymous, parent-authorized, or school-authorized AR experiences that do not require an ordinary account.
## Institution-authorized use
Future educational services may permit access through a school, district, teacher, library, museum, youth organization, parent, guardian, or other authorized entity.
Those services may be governed by additional privacy, consent, contractual, and account requirements.
---
# 5\. Accounts
When creating or using an AR Pages account, you agree to provide information that is accurate to the extent accuracy is required for the service.
You are responsible for:
- protecting your login credentials;
- maintaining reasonable account security;
- activities performed through your account where legally attributable to you;
- keeping required account information reasonably current; and
- notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not:
- impersonate another person or organization;
- create an account using another person's identity without authorization;
- sell or transfer an account in violation of AR Pages rules;
- obtain accounts through fraud or deception;
- circumvent account restrictions or suspensions; or
- use automated means to create abusive quantities of accounts.
We may require additional verification when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, age-related requirements, organization administration, or legal compliance.
---
# 6\. Public and Anonymous AR Experiences
AR Pages may permit people to access certain AR experiences without creating an account.
Anonymous or account-free access is intended to reduce unnecessary identity collection where persistence or personalization is not required.
Even when no account is required, limited technical information may still be processed to:
- provide the experience;
- communicate with a user's device;
- maintain security;
- prevent abuse;
- diagnose technical issues; or
- produce appropriate aggregate measurements.
Account-free access does not create a right to bypass technological or access restrictions applicable to a particular experience.
---
# 7\. Schools, Students, and Educational Use
AR Pages intends to support educational and institution-authorized uses.
Some educational features referenced in these Terms are future functionality and may not yet exist.
Where AR Pages provides services to a school, school district, library, museum, youth organization, educational publisher, or similar organization, additional agreements may govern that relationship.
Educational use may be subject to requirements concerning:
- authorization;
- student access;
- parental rights;
- school control;
- privacy;
- data security;
- retention;
- deletion;
- content visibility;
- educational records; and
- applicable federal or state law.
AR Pages does not claim that the existence of a school relationship alone satisfies all legal requirements.
The institution and AR Pages must each comply with obligations applicable to their respective roles.
---
# 8\. Student Information and Commercial Use
Student information obtained through an authorized school or educational relationship must not be treated as a general-purpose commercial advertising database.
AR Pages does not permit school-authorized student information to be used merely to:
- build unrelated commercial behavioral profiles;
- target advertising based on a student's school activity;
- sell student personal information; or
- rent student personal information.
Commercial organizations associated with educational AR experiences may receive appropriate aggregate or privacy-protective measurements rather than identifiable student activity.
Additional restrictions may be imposed by law, school contracts, or AR Pages policies.
---
# 9\. User Content
“User Content” means content that users or organizations submit, upload, publish, transmit, create, or otherwise make available through AR Pages.
User Content may include:
- text;
- posts;
- comments;
- images;
- video;
- audio;
- documents;
- models;
- AR assets;
- scenes;
- project files;
- links;
- designs;
- educational materials;
- advertisements;
- branding; and
- other content.
You retain ownership of User Content you own.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of your original User Content to AR Pages.
---
# 10\. License to Operate the Service
When you submit User Content to AR Pages, you grant AR Pages and Sixty8 Inc. a nonexclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, format, adapt technically, and distribute that content **only as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, secure, improve, and deliver AR Pages and the features you choose to use**.
This license includes technical activities necessary to provide the service, such as:
- creating thumbnails or previews;
- converting media formats;
- resizing assets;
- transmitting content to authorized viewers;
- caching content;
- backing up content;
- displaying content within an AR experience; and
- processing content through infrastructure needed to provide the requested feature.
The license does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
The scope of distribution depends on the visibility you or an authorized administrator select.
For example, content designated public may be displayed publicly, while content restricted to an organization or educational environment should be handled according to the applicable visibility controls.
The license generally ends when content is deleted from our active systems, subject to reasonable backup cycles, legal obligations, security records, content previously shared with others, and other circumstances described in our Privacy Policy.
---
# 11\. Your Responsibility for Content
You are responsible for content you submit to AR Pages.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the content and allow AR Pages to process it as described in these Terms.
You must not knowingly upload or distribute content that:
- infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- contains malicious code;
- unlawfully exposes another person's personal information;
- contains child sexual abuse material;
- facilitates exploitation or grooming;
- constitutes unlawful threats or harassment;
- is fraudulent or deceptive;
- impersonates another person or organization unlawfully; or
- otherwise violates applicable law or AR Pages policies.
Additional Community Guidelines may impose more detailed content rules.
---
# 12\. Intellectual Property
AR Pages, its software, branding, logos, visual design, interfaces, documentation, platform features, and original content supplied by AR Pages or Sixty8 Inc. may be protected by copyright, trademark, trade-secret, patent, or other intellectual-property laws.
Except for rights expressly granted under these Terms, AR Pages and its licensors retain their rights in that material.
You may not, except as permitted by law or written authorization:
- copy proprietary AR Pages software;
- remove proprietary notices;
- misrepresent AR Pages branding as your own;
- use AR Pages trademarks in a misleading manner;
- reverse engineer protected technology where prohibited by law;
- circumvent technical access controls; or
- reproduce protected AR Pages materials for unauthorized commercial purposes.
These restrictions do not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
---
# 13\. Copyright Complaints
AR Pages respects intellectual-property rights.
If you believe content on AR Pages infringes your copyright, you may contact:
**[
[email protected]](mailto:
[email protected])**
A copyright complaint should provide enough information for us to identify:
- the copyrighted work;
- the allegedly infringing material;
- where the material appears;
- the complaining party's contact information;
- the basis for the claim; and
- any additional information required by applicable law.
AR Pages may remove or restrict access to material when appropriate.
A formal Digital Millennium Copyright Act procedure or designated copyright agent may be established separately if required for AR Pages' operations.
Do not knowingly submit false copyright claims.
---
# 14\. AR Experiences and Physical Safety
Augmented reality combines digital information with a user's physical surroundings.
You remain responsible for paying attention to the real-world environment while using AR Pages.
Do not use an AR experience in a manner that creates an unreasonable risk to yourself or others.
In particular:
- remain aware of traffic;
- watch for stairs, curbs, obstacles, and uneven surfaces;
- do not enter restricted or dangerous locations;
- do not operate vehicles or machinery while distracted by AR;
- supervise children appropriately;
- follow rules applicable to schools, workplaces, businesses, public spaces, and private property; and
- stop using an AR experience if conditions make continued use unsafe.
AR objects, guides, markers, directions, measurements, or virtual representations should not be assumed to constitute safety instructions, professional advice, or exact physical measurements unless explicitly stated otherwise.
---
# 15\. Camera and Device Permissions
Some AR features may require access to:
- cameras;
- motion sensors;
- orientation sensors;
- microphones;
- images;
- location; or
- other device capabilities.
You control many of these permissions through your browser or device.
Granting permission allows the applicable feature to access the capability within the scope permitted by the device or browser.
AR Pages' handling of information obtained through those capabilities is described further in the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Children & Student Privacy Notice.
---
# 16\. Organizations and Businesses
Organizations may eventually use AR Pages to create, manage, sponsor, publish, or analyze AR experiences.
An individual acting for an organization represents that they are authorized to perform the actions they take on that organization's behalf.
Organizations are responsible for:
- maintaining appropriate account permissions;
- protecting administrative credentials;
- ensuring their content is lawful;
- obtaining rights to logos, media, trademarks, and other submitted assets;
- maintaining appropriate permissions for content involving people;
- ensuring destinations linked from their AR experiences are appropriate;
- complying with applicable advertising, marketing, privacy, and consumer-protection laws; and
- complying with additional AR Pages organization terms where applicable.
---
# 17\. Advertisers and Sponsored Experiences
Commercial AR experiences must not be deceptive or misleading.
Advertisers and sponsors are responsible for the legality and accuracy of their claims.
They must not use AR Pages to:
- advertise unlawful products or services;
- misrepresent sponsorship;
- conceal material commercial relationships where disclosure is legally required;
- collect personal information deceptively;
- circumvent child or student privacy controls;
- obtain school-derived student information for unauthorized marketing;
- manipulate AR experiences to disguise dangerous conduct; or
- direct users to malicious or fraudulent destinations.
AR Pages may impose stricter requirements for advertisements or sponsored experiences intended for children, students, schools, or educational contexts.
---
# 18\. Links and Third-Party Services
AR Pages content may contain links to third-party websites, services, applications, products, or resources.
A link does not necessarily mean AR Pages endorses or controls the destination.
Third parties are responsible for their own:
- content;
- products;
- services;
- security;
- privacy practices; and
- legal compliance.
Users should exercise appropriate judgment when following external links.
AR Pages may implement approved-link or destination-control systems for certain organizations, campaigns, or educational experiences.
Where such systems exist, attempting to bypass them may result in restriction or removal of the applicable content or account.
---
# 19\. Acceptable Use
You may not use AR Pages to engage in conduct that is unlawful, abusive, dangerous, deceptive, or materially harmful to the platform or others.
Prohibited conduct includes, where applicable:
- harassment;
- credible threats;
- stalking;
- bullying;
- hate-based abuse;
- sexual exploitation;
- child exploitation;
- grooming;
- distribution of child sexual abuse material;
- doxxing;
- nonconsensual intimate imagery;
- impersonation used for fraud or abuse;
- scams;
- phishing;
- malware distribution;
- unauthorized system access;
- deliberate service disruption;
- spam;
- fraudulent advertising;
- unlawful sales;
- infringement of intellectual-property rights;
- privacy violations;
- evasion of platform enforcement; and
- using AR functionality to facilitate dangerous or unlawful physical activity.
More detailed rules may appear in the AR Pages Community Guidelines.
---
# 20\. Special Protection of Children
AR Pages maintains heightened restrictions regarding conduct involving children.
You may not use AR Pages to:
- sexually exploit a child;
- solicit sexual material from a child;
- groom a child for exploitation;
- encourage a child to conceal inappropriate contact from a parent, guardian, teacher, or other responsible adult;
- obtain a child's personal information through deception for harmful purposes;
- threaten or blackmail a child;
- sexualize minors in prohibited ways;
- facilitate trafficking or exploitation; or
- otherwise use AR Pages to endanger a child.
AR Pages may immediately restrict or terminate accounts associated with such conduct.
We may preserve or report information where required or permitted by law, including circumstances involving apparent child exploitation or imminent danger.
---
# 21\. School and Student Communications
Future educational services may place restrictions on communication involving students.
Those restrictions may include:
- limiting private messaging;
- restricting communication to institution-approved users;
- teacher or administrator oversight;
- limiting comments;
- disabling public discovery;
- preventing unsolicited adult-to-student contact; or
- restricting external links.
Users must not circumvent educational communication controls.
Institution-specific rules may impose requirements beyond these general Terms.
---
# 22\. Moderation
AR Pages may review, restrict, remove, disable, or limit content or functionality when we reasonably believe doing so is appropriate to:
- enforce these Terms;
- enforce Community Guidelines;
- comply with law;
- respond to valid legal requests;
- protect children;
- prevent fraud or abuse;
- protect security;
- protect the rights of others;
- investigate reported conduct; or
- maintain the operation of the service.
AR Pages is not obligated to pre-screen every item of User Content.
The absence of moderation action does not mean AR Pages endorses particular content.
---
# 23\. Reporting
Users may report content or conduct they believe violates AR Pages rules.
Until more specialized reporting tools are introduced, concerns may be sent to:
**[
[email protected]](mailto:
[email protected])**
When reporting content, provide enough information for AR Pages to identify the issue without unnecessarily sending sensitive information.
Reports involving immediate danger should also be directed to appropriate emergency or law-enforcement services.
---
# 24\. Suspension and Termination
AR Pages may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts or access where reasonably necessary because of:
- serious or repeated Terms violations;
- unlawful activity;
- threats to platform security;
- fraud;
- abusive conduct;
- child-safety concerns;
- intellectual-property violations;
- attempts to evade enforcement;
- nonpayment of an applicable paid service;
- a legal requirement; or
- material risk to AR Pages or others.
Where reasonable and legally appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to address an issue.
Certain serious violations may justify immediate action.
You may stop using AR Pages at any time.
Account-deletion procedures may be provided through the platform or by contacting support.
---
# 25\. Changes to or Discontinuation of the Service
AR Pages is under active development.
We may:
- add features;
- remove features;
- modify interfaces;
- change technical requirements;
- discontinue experimental functionality;
- impose reasonable usage limits;
- update AR technologies; or
- change how particular services are provided.
We will seek to provide appropriate notice where a material change significantly affects an existing contractual or privacy relationship.
Institutional or paid agreements may contain additional service commitments.
---
# 26\. Beta and Experimental Features
AR Pages may provide beta, preview, experimental, or early-access functionality.
Such features may:
- change;
- contain errors;
- experience interruptions;
- be incomplete;
- have limited support; or
- be discontinued.
Users should not rely on beta or experimental functionality for safety-critical, emergency, medical, financial, or other applications where failure could reasonably result in serious harm unless AR Pages has expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
---
# 27\. Fees and Paid Services
Some AR Pages services may eventually require payment.
If a paid service is offered, applicable pricing, billing terms, renewal terms, refund rules, and additional conditions will be disclosed before purchase or in a separate agreement.
AR Pages will not charge users merely because future paid services are mentioned in these Terms.
Organizations entering individually negotiated agreements may be subject to separate commercial terms.
---
# 28\. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide ideas, suggestions, or feedback concerning AR Pages, you permit us to use that feedback to evaluate or improve the platform without an obligation to compensate you.
This provision does not transfer ownership of unrelated User Content, confidential business information governed by another agreement, student information, or intellectual property that is not actually submitted as feedback.
---
# 29\. Privacy
Use of AR Pages is also governed by the:
**AR Pages Privacy Policy**
and, where relevant:
**AR Pages Children & Student Privacy Notice**
Those documents describe how AR Pages collects, uses, discloses, protects, and retains information.
These Terms should be interpreted consistently with those privacy commitments.
---
# 30\. No Professional Advice
Unless AR Pages expressly identifies a particular service otherwise, content available through AR Pages is not a substitute for professional:
- medical;
- legal;
- engineering;
- architectural;
- safety;
- financial; or
- emergency advice.
Educational or informational AR experiences may simplify complex concepts and should be used according to their intended purpose.
---
# 31\. Third-Party Content
AR Pages may contain content supplied by users, organizations, advertisers, publishers, educators, or other third parties.
AR Pages does not automatically verify or endorse every third-party statement.
Users should use appropriate judgment when relying on third-party information.
Organizations publishing professional, educational, product, safety, or advertising information remain responsible for that information.
---
# 32\. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AR Pages is provided on an **“as is”** and **“as available”** basis.
Sixty8 Inc. does not guarantee that:
- AR Pages will always be available;
- every feature will be error-free;
- every AR experience will function on every device;
- every marker will be recognized;
- virtual objects will be positioned with perfect physical accuracy;
- third-party content will be accurate;
- every external link will remain available; or
- AR Pages will meet every user's particular requirements.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
---
# 33\. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sixty8 Inc. and AR Pages will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to AR Pages where such damages may lawfully be excluded.
This may include, where permitted by law:
- loss of profits;
- loss of data;
- business interruption;
- loss of opportunity; or
- damages resulting from unauthorized third-party content.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where limitation is prohibited by law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights that consumers, children, parents, students, or educational institutions cannot legally waive.
---
# 34\. User Responsibility for Physical AR Use
You assume responsibility for choosing when and where it is safe to engage with an AR experience.
AR Pages is not responsible for a user's decision to:
- walk into traffic;
- enter unsafe terrain;
- trespass;
- ignore posted warnings;
- disregard school or workplace rules;
- operate a vehicle while distracted;
- interact with dangerous equipment while viewing AR; or
- otherwise use an AR experience in an obviously unsafe manner,
except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.
Adults responsible for children should provide supervision appropriate to the child's age, environment, and activity.
---
# 35\. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, business users, organizations, publishers, advertisers, and creators using AR Pages on behalf of a commercial or organizational entity agree to defend and indemnify Sixty8 Inc. against third-party claims arising from:
- content they provide;
- infringement caused by materials they submit;
- unlawful campaigns they operate;
- unauthorized collection of personal information through their content;
- misleading advertising they supply; or
- their material violation of these Terms.
This provision does not require an ordinary consumer or student to waive protections that applicable law does not permit us to waive.
Separate organization agreements may contain different indemnification provisions.
---
# 36\. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the **State of Iowa**, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
To the extent a dispute may lawfully be required to proceed in a particular forum, disputes concerning these Terms will be subject to the appropriate state or federal courts serving **Jackson County, Iowa**.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer, student, parent, guardian, school, or other person from exercising non-waivable rights or using a forum that applicable law requires to remain available.
---
# 37\. No Automatic Waiver
If AR Pages does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not necessarily waive our right to enforce it later.
A waiver is effective only to the extent expressly made by a person authorized to provide it.
---
# 38\. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective to the extent legally permitted.
The unenforceable provision should be interpreted or modified only as much as reasonably necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intended purpose where possible.
---
# 39\. Assignment
You may not assign contractual rights or obligations under these Terms in a manner that would improperly transfer an account or evade AR Pages rules without our consent.
Sixty8 Inc. may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of the AR Pages business, or similar transaction, subject to applicable privacy and other legal obligations.
Special restrictions applicable to student information or educational records continue to apply where required by law or contract.
---
# 40\. Changes to These Terms
AR Pages will evolve, and these Terms may be updated.
We may revise these Terms because of:
- new features;
- legal requirements;
- educational services;
- advertising functionality;
- security requirements;
- business changes; or
- clarification of existing rules.
When material changes are made, we will update the revision date and provide additional notice or obtain renewed agreement where legally required.
Changes will not retroactively eliminate rights where doing so would be prohibited by law.
---
# 41\. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the AR Pages Privacy Policy, applicable Community Guidelines, and any additional agreement governing a specific service or relationship, constitute the applicable agreement between you and Sixty8 Inc. concerning use of AR Pages.
A separately executed school, organization, commercial, advertising, or data-processing agreement may supplement or override these general Terms for the matters it specifically addresses.
