# AR Pages Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy
**Effective Date: October 6, 2026**
**Last Updated: October 6, 2026**
AR Pages is operated by **Sixty8 Inc.**
These Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use rules (“Guidelines”) explain what is and is not allowed when using AR Pages.
They apply to:
- accounts;
- profiles;
- posts;
- comments;
- messages;
- communities;
- AR experiences;
- uploaded files;
- images;
- video;
- audio;
- links;
- projects;
- campaigns;
- advertisements;
- educational content;
- organization activity; and
- other interactions made available through AR Pages.
These Guidelines supplement the **AR Pages Terms of Service**, **Privacy Policy**, and **Children & Student Privacy Notice**.
Our goal is to provide an environment where businesses, organizations, educators, creators, families, students, and other users can interact with augmented reality safely and responsibly.
---
# 1\. General Standard
Use AR Pages in a lawful, respectful, honest, and safe manner.
Do not use AR Pages to:
- harm other people;
- exploit children;
- commit fraud;
- invade privacy;
- distribute malware;
- promote unlawful activity;
- deceive users;
- interfere with platform security;
- misuse educational environments; or
- create AR experiences that place people at unreasonable physical risk.
Context matters.
Content that may be appropriate in one context may be inappropriate in another, particularly when children or schools are involved.
---
# 2\. Child Safety Is a Priority
AR Pages may be used in educational and child-directed environments.
We therefore apply especially strict rules to conduct involving minors.
You may not use AR Pages to:
- sexually exploit or abuse a child;
- groom a child;
- solicit sexual content from a child;
- request nude or sexually explicit images of a child;
- sexualize minors;
- encourage secret or inappropriate adult-child relationships;
- facilitate trafficking;
- threaten, blackmail, or coerce a child;
- obtain personal information from a child through manipulation;
- encourage a child to conceal dangerous or inappropriate activity from a responsible adult;
- arrange inappropriate sexual or exploitative contact with a child;
- distribute or request child sexual abuse material; or
- otherwise endanger a child.
Such conduct may result in immediate account restriction or termination.
AR Pages may also preserve information or make reports to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.
---
# 3\. Inappropriate Adult-to-Student Contact
Adults must not use AR Pages educational features to create inappropriate private relationships with students.
Where school or student environments are involved, adults must respect:
- school communication rules;
- professional boundaries;
- institution-approved communication channels;
- privacy controls; and
- age-appropriate interaction requirements.
Prohibited conduct includes:
- attempting to move a child into secret conversations;
- pressuring a student to use unauthorized private channels;
- requesting personal or intimate photographs;
- asking a child to hide conversations from parents, guardians, teachers, or administrators;
- using gifts or rewards to manipulate a student;
- sexual or romantic solicitation;
- repeated unwanted contact; and
- circumventing institution communication restrictions.
Future school-controlled AR Pages environments may impose additional limits on messaging, comments, discovery, or contact.
Users must not attempt to bypass those controls.
---
# 4\. Child Sexual Abuse Material
Child sexual abuse material is prohibited.
Do not:
- upload it;
- share it;
- request it;
- link to it;
- trade it;
- promote it;
- create it;
- facilitate access to it; or
- use AR Pages to coordinate its distribution.
This prohibition applies to real and unlawful synthetic material as applicable under law.
Accounts associated with such activity may be immediately disabled.
---
# 5\. Sexual Content
AR Pages is intended to support broad public, business, educational, family, and community use.
Sexually explicit material may be restricted or prohibited, particularly where content is:
- accessible to minors;
- presented in an educational space where it is inappropriate;
- nonconsensual;
- exploitative;
- intended to harass;
- unlawful;
- associated with sexual services prohibited by law;
- presented deceptively; or
- likely to expose children to inappropriate sexual material.
Legitimate educational, medical, historical, artistic, or scientific content may be treated differently depending on context.
Context does not excuse sexual exploitation of minors.
---
# 6\. Bullying and Harassment
Do not use AR Pages to bully, harass, intimidate, humiliate, or repeatedly target another person.
Examples include:
- repeated unwanted messages;
- coordinated harassment;
- degrading personal attacks;
- threats intended to frighten someone;
- encouraging others to target a person;
- sexual harassment;
- malicious publication of embarrassing private material;
- harassment based on personal characteristics; and
- targeting students or minors for humiliation.
Disagreement and criticism are not automatically harassment.
We consider severity, repetition, context, power differences, and the vulnerability of the people involved.
---
# 7\. Threats and Violence
Do not use AR Pages to make credible threats of violence or encourage serious harm.
Prohibited activity may include:
- threats to kill or physically injure someone;
- instructions directed at harming a particular person;
- coordinating violent attacks;
- encouraging imminent violence;
- threatening schools;
- promoting attacks against students or staff;
- glorifying an ongoing act of mass violence in a manner that encourages imitation; or
- using AR experiences to lure people into dangerous situations.
Content discussing violence for legitimate educational, historical, journalistic, fictional, or prevention purposes may be treated differently depending on context.
---
# 8\. Hate and Dehumanizing Abuse
Do not use AR Pages to attack or dehumanize people based on protected or sensitive personal characteristics.
This includes content that:
- advocates violence against a protected group;
- portrays a group as inherently subhuman;
- encourages exclusion through threats or violence;
- praises persecution;
- uses hateful slurs to intimidate or target individuals; or
- coordinates discriminatory harassment.
Educational or documentary discussion of hateful ideologies may be permitted when it is clearly contextualized rather than promoted.
---
# 9\. Privacy and Personal Information
Respect other people's privacy.
Do not post or distribute another person's highly sensitive or private information without appropriate authorization.
This may include:
- home addresses;
- passwords;
- private account credentials;
- government identification numbers;
- private financial information;
- confidential medical information;
- nonpublic school records;
- private student information;
- intimate images;
- precise real-time location where disclosure creates risk; or
- information published primarily to facilitate harassment or harm.
This prohibition is especially important where children or students are involved.
---
# 10\. Doxxing
Do not use AR Pages to expose private identifying information about another person for the purpose of intimidation, retaliation, harassment, or harm.
AR Pages may remove information even if individual pieces of that information are available elsewhere when the way they are collected or presented creates a meaningful safety risk.
---
# 11\. Nonconsensual Intimate Content
Do not upload, publish, threaten to publish, or distribute intimate images or recordings without the depicted person's consent.
Do not use AR Pages for sexual blackmail or extortion.
Content involving minors is subject to the stricter child-safety rules in these Guidelines regardless of claimed consent.
---
# 12\. Impersonation
Do not impersonate another person, organization, school, business, government entity, or AR Pages representative in a deceptive manner.
Parody, commentary, or fictional content may be permitted when a reasonable person would understand that it is not the real person or organization.
You must not impersonate:
- a teacher;
- school administrator;
- student;
- parent;
- business;
- advertiser;
- support representative; or
- trusted organization
in order to obtain information, money, access, or trust through deception.
---
# 13\. Fraud, Scams, and Deceptive Practices
Do not use AR Pages to commit or facilitate fraud.
Examples include:
- phishing;
- fake giveaways;
- impersonation scams;
- fraudulent investment schemes;
- false invoices;
- credential theft;
- fabricated charities;
- deceptive product claims;
- false sponsorship claims;
- fake school or institution accounts;
- manipulated links intended to deceive;
- fraudulent fundraising; and
- requests for payment based on deliberate misrepresentation.
Businesses and advertisers are responsible for the accuracy of claims they publish.
---
# 14\. Spam
Do not use AR Pages for abusive or excessive unsolicited activity.
This includes:
- bulk unsolicited messages;
- repetitive promotional posts;
- mass account creation;
- misleading engagement schemes;
- repetitive comments;
- automated posting intended to overwhelm discussions;
- unsolicited advertising in inappropriate spaces; or
- repeatedly directing users to unrelated commercial destinations.
Legitimate organizational communications and authorized advertising are not automatically spam.
---
# 15\. Malware and Malicious Links
Do not use AR Pages to distribute or promote:
- malware;
- ransomware;
- credential stealers;
- spyware;
- malicious downloads;
- phishing pages;
- exploit kits;
- fraudulent browser prompts; or
- links intentionally designed to compromise another person's device or account.
AR Pages may disable links or content that present a security risk.
---
# 16\. External Links
AR experiences may link users to third-party websites or resources.
Users and organizations are responsible for ensuring that links they intentionally publish are appropriate for their audience.
Links used in child-directed or educational AR experiences require particular care.
Do not direct children or students to destinations that are:
- sexually explicit;
- deceptive;
- malicious;
- unlawful;
- designed to harvest personal information improperly;
- inconsistent with school restrictions; or
- materially inappropriate for the intended audience.
AR Pages may introduce approved-link systems or destination allowlists for organizations and educational environments.
Attempts to bypass those protections may result in enforcement action.
---
# 17\. Intellectual Property
Do not upload or distribute content you do not have the right to use.
This includes unauthorized:
- photographs;
- music;
- video;
- artwork;
- 3D models;
- trademarks;
- logos;
- documents;
- educational materials;
- software;
- publications; or
- other protected works.
Fair use and other legal exceptions may apply in appropriate circumstances.
AR Pages may respond to valid intellectual-property complaints in accordance with applicable law and our Terms of Service.
---
# 18\. Illegal Goods and Services
Do not use AR Pages to facilitate unlawful transactions.
Content may be removed or restricted when it promotes, sells, distributes, or facilitates goods or services that are illegal in the applicable context.
Additional restrictions may apply to regulated products, age-restricted products, or products unsuitable for child-directed environments.
---
# 19\. Dangerous Activities
Do not design or use AR experiences in ways that intentionally create unreasonable physical danger.
Examples may include AR content that encourages users to:
- enter traffic;
- trespass;
- climb unsafe structures;
- approach dangerous machinery;
- ignore safety barriers;
- enter hazardous areas;
- perform dangerous challenges;
- interact with weapons irresponsibly;
- disregard emergency instructions; or
- become dangerously distracted.
AR creators should consider the actual physical setting in which their experiences will be used.
---
# 20\. AR Location and Placement Safety
Augmented content should not intentionally mislead users about the safety of the physical environment.
For example, creators must not intentionally:
- hide or obscure real hazards;
- falsely indicate that a dangerous area is safe;
- place an interaction where participation foreseeably requires unsafe behavior;
- encourage trespass;
- falsely represent an emergency exit;
- create deceptive navigation around dangerous equipment; or
- design child-directed AR experiences that lure children away from appropriate supervision.
Virtual objects are not substitutes for real safety signage.
---
# 21\. Schools and Educational Environments
AR Pages educational environments should remain appropriate for their educational purpose.
Users may not:
- disrupt classes intentionally;
- impersonate teachers or students;
- expose student records without authorization;
- bypass school access controls;
- use educational spaces primarily for unrelated advertising;
- target students using school-derived information;
- publish student work publicly without appropriate authority;
- circumvent educator moderation controls; or
- exploit school relationships for unrelated commercial profiling.
Schools and organizations may establish additional rules that are stricter than these general Guidelines.
---
# 22\. Student Content
Student-created material requires particular care.
Content produced through institution-managed environments should not be made public merely because AR Pages technically supports public content.
Schools, authorized educators, parents, guardians, and AR Pages may impose restrictions concerning:
- visibility;
- comments;
- downloads;
- sharing;
- external links;
- discoverability;
- retention; and
- publication.
Users may not attempt to defeat those restrictions.
---
# 23\. Advertising to Students and Children
Commercial activity involving children or students may be subject to additional restrictions.
Do not use AR Pages educational data to:
- create unrelated behavioral advertising profiles;
- target students based on school activity;
- identify children for unrelated marketing;
- sell student personal information; or
- rent student personal information.
Sponsors of educational materials may receive appropriate aggregate measurements where permitted.
Sponsorship should be disclosed when disclosure is necessary to avoid misleading users.
---
# 24\. Misleading Advertising
Advertisements and sponsored AR experiences must not materially mislead users.
Advertisers must not:
- make knowingly false claims;
- hide important conditions;
- misrepresent a product's identity;
- falsely imply school endorsement;
- falsely claim government approval;
- disguise advertising as an official school message;
- misrepresent sponsorship; or
- use deceptive AR effects to create false product demonstrations.
Applicable advertising and consumer-protection laws remain the advertiser's responsibility.
---
# 25\. Organizations and Administrative Accounts
Users with administrative authority over businesses, schools, organizations, communities, or projects have additional responsibility.
Administrators should:
- give access only to appropriate users;
- remove access when it is no longer needed;
- protect administrative credentials;
- use permissions responsibly;
- avoid exposing confidential information;
- review reports appropriately; and
- avoid using administrator privileges for retaliation or harassment.
Administrative access must not be used to bypass privacy protections.
---
# 26\. Platform Security
Do not interfere with AR Pages systems.
Prohibited activity includes:
- unauthorized access;
- credential theft;
- bypassing authentication;
- exploiting vulnerabilities without authorization;
- deliberately overwhelming services;
- destructive automated activity;
- circumventing rate limits;
- defeating security controls;
- introducing malware;
- modifying another user's data without permission; or
- attempting to gain administrative privileges unlawfully.
Good-faith security research may be handled under a future vulnerability-disclosure process.
Do not publicly expose sensitive vulnerabilities in a way that creates unnecessary risk before AR Pages has a reasonable opportunity to investigate them.
---
# 27\. Automated Activity
Bots, scripts, crawlers, or other automated systems may be restricted.
Automation must not:
- create abusive accounts;
- scrape private information;
- overwhelm the service;
- send spam;
- bypass access restrictions;
- manipulate engagement;
- evade moderation; or
- access information users are not authorized to obtain.
AR Pages may provide approved APIs or automation mechanisms in the future.
---
# 28\. Artificial Intelligence and Synthetic Content
AR Pages may contain AI-assisted or synthetic content.
Users remain responsible for content they publish using AI tools.
Do not use synthetic media to:
- impersonate someone deceptively;
- fabricate evidence for harassment or fraud;
- sexualize children;
- create unlawful exploitative material;
- deceive students about official school communications;
- conduct scams;
- fabricate endorsements; or
- violate another person's rights.
AR Pages may introduce labeling requirements for certain AI-generated or materially manipulated media.
---
# 29\. False Information That Creates Safety Risks
AR Pages does not attempt to arbitrate every disagreement or inaccurate statement.
However, we may restrict deceptive content where the likely result is serious harm.
Examples may include:
- false emergency instructions;
- fraudulent school closure notices;
- fake evacuation directions;
- dangerous medical impersonation;
- deceptive safety warnings;
- fake law-enforcement instructions; or
- manipulated AR navigation that creates physical danger.
---
# 30\. Self-Harm and Dangerous Challenges
Content discussing mental health or self-harm for support, education, prevention, or recovery may be permitted.
Do not use AR Pages to:
- encourage another person to harm themselves;
- pressure children into dangerous challenges;
- glorify imminent self-injury in a way intended to encourage imitation; or
- provide targeted instructions to a vulnerable person for carrying out self-harm.
Content that presents an immediate safety concern may be restricted and may result in additional protective action where appropriate.
---
# 31\. Reporting Violations
Users may report suspected violations of these Guidelines.
Until specialized reporting tools are available, reports may be sent to:
**[
[email protected]](mailto:
[email protected])**
A useful report may include:
- the username or account involved;
- the content or experience involved;
- a link or other identifier;
- a brief explanation of the concern; and
- screenshots where appropriate and lawful.
Do not unnecessarily redistribute harmful material merely to report it.
For material involving suspected child sexual abuse, avoid downloading or forwarding the material unnecessarily.
If someone appears to be in immediate physical danger, contact appropriate emergency services.
---
# 32\. How AR Pages May Respond
AR Pages may respond to violations in different ways depending on severity, context, history, intent, risk, and applicable law.
Possible actions include:
- no action where no violation is found;
- educational notice;
- warning;
- content removal;
- link removal;
- reduced visibility;
- feature restriction;
- messaging restriction;
- temporary suspension;
- permanent account termination;
- organization restriction;
- campaign suspension;
- preservation of records;
- escalation to an institution administrator; or
- reporting to authorities where required or appropriate.
Not every violation will receive the same response.
---
# 33\. Enforcement Levels
AR Pages may generally think about enforcement in four levels.
## Level 1 — Correction
Appropriate for lower-severity or accidental violations.
Possible actions:
- notice;
- request to edit;
- removal of a specific item;
- education about the rule.
## Level 2 — Restriction
Appropriate for repeated or more serious misconduct.
Possible actions:
- temporary posting restriction;
- messaging restriction;
- loss of particular functionality;
- temporary suspension.
## Level 3 — Termination
Appropriate for severe, repeated, fraudulent, dangerous, or intentionally abusive conduct.
Possible actions:
- permanent account termination;
- organization removal;
- campaign termination;
- blocking attempts to create replacement accounts.
## Level 4 — Safety or Legal Escalation
Appropriate where conduct presents significant safety, exploitation, security, or legal concerns.
Possible actions:
- preservation of relevant records;
- institution notification where appropriate;
- emergency action;
- legal-process response; or
- reports to appropriate authorities where required or permitted.
Severe child exploitation, credible imminent threats, major fraud, or serious security attacks may move directly to higher enforcement levels without prior warning.
---
# 34\. Attempts to Evade Enforcement
Do not attempt to evade AR Pages enforcement by:
- creating replacement accounts;
- using another person's account;
- changing organizations;
- repeatedly reposting removed content;
- disguising prohibited links;
- manipulating identifiers;
- exploiting technical loopholes; or
- directing others to continue prohibited activity on your behalf.
Evasion may result in additional restrictions.
---
# 35\. Appeals
AR Pages may provide a process for users or organizations to request review of certain moderation decisions.
An appeal should explain why the user believes the decision was incorrect or why relevant context was overlooked.
An appeal is not an opportunity to harass moderators, submit threats, or repeatedly resubmit the same request without new information.
Certain emergency, legal, or child-safety actions may not be immediately reversible.
---
# 36\. Good-Faith Mistakes
Not every violation is intentional.
Where risk is limited and circumstances allow, AR Pages may prefer correction and education over immediate termination.
Factors we may consider include:
- severity;
- intent;
- age;
- prior violations;
- willingness to correct the problem;
- impact on others;
- whether a child was involved;
- whether the conduct was deceptive;
- whether the behavior was repeated; and
- whether the conduct created a meaningful safety risk.
---
# 37\. Special Handling for Educational Accounts
Where conduct occurs within an institution-managed environment, AR Pages may coordinate enforcement with an authorized school or organization administrator.
Depending on the circumstances, a school may be permitted to handle an ordinary classroom conduct matter internally.
Serious safety, exploitation, criminal, or security concerns may require separate AR Pages action regardless of institutional action.
A school or organization may not require AR Pages to ignore conduct that violates law or creates a substantial safety risk.
---
# 38\. Context and Public Interest
AR Pages may consider context when evaluating content.
Material that would otherwise appear problematic may sometimes be permitted for legitimate:
- educational;
- documentary;
- historical;
- journalistic;
- artistic;
- scientific;
- prevention; or
- awareness purposes.
Context does not excuse:
- child sexual exploitation;
- credible violent threats;
- malware;
- fraud;
- unauthorized disclosure of highly sensitive personal information; or
- conduct that is otherwise unlawful.
---
# 39\. Changes to These Guidelines
AR Pages is evolving.
These Guidelines may be updated as:
- new AR functionality is introduced;
- educational services expand;
- new moderation tools become available;
- advertising capabilities develop;
- platform risks change;
- laws change; or
- experience shows that additional rules are needed.
When material changes are made, we will update the revision date and provide additional notice where appropriate.
---
# 40\. Relationship to Other AR Pages Policies
These Guidelines should be read together with:
- the **AR Pages Terms of Service**;
- the **AR Pages Privacy Policy**; and
- the **AR Pages Children & Student Privacy Notice**.
Future school, organization, advertiser, or commercial agreements may impose additional requirements.
If a specialized agreement is stricter than these Guidelines for a particular environment, users in that environment must follow the stricter requirements.
---
